Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, consists of four gentle exercises and a sitting meditation that help improve mental and physical well-being. It helps you reduce stress, improve physical and mental health and feel more energetic.

Beginner yoga classes will be held at the Medgar Evers Library every Tuesday evening starting August 20, 2019 at 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM. La'Desha Jones of Eternal Yoga is the instructor. This program is for teens and adults. Yoga mats will be provided (up to 10 mats) with water.

Patrons, come learn to speak Spanish! This Spanish language program is a course in which patrons will get exposure to basic Spanish. Through fun games and instruction, students will learn the fundamentals of reading, writing, and conversation in a friendly environment. All levels are welcome to attend.

The Spanish classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. Registration is required.

Director Nina Parikh will come to the Bolden Moore Library to discuss her career, history of the film industry in the state of Mississippi, purpose of the Mississippi Film Office and past, present and future programs and activities that her organization is engaged in.
