The library, which is named for famed Mississippi writer, Willie Morris, contains several exhibit cases about Morris' books, and Morris-themed artwork is available throughout the building for visitors to enjoy. The Jackson Friends of the Library hosts their Applause Series the third Thursday of the month at noon in the library meeting room.
