About Bolden Moore Library

Welcome to the R.G. Bolden/Anna Bell-Moore Library, which is conveniently located in the Westside Community on Wiggins Road. The library hosts the Westside Community Senior Organization in the meeting room from Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM-3:30 PM, and offers programming for children and teens before 11:00 AM and after 3:30 for more information contact the Branch Manager at 601-922-6076

Chess Club: Every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30, the Bolden Moore Library will offer a chess club for
all who are interested in playing. The club will present the tactical and strategic intrigue of chess, while also instilling wonderful characteristics and teaching tools centered around discipline, decisiveness and patience. Every Wednesday morning at 9:30 the Bolden Moore Library offers a storytime program for all

January 29, 2019 | Events for Adults

On Tuesday, January 29th at 5 PM, Dr. Steve Rozman of Tougaloo College will present a program on human trafficking which will cover a variety of different aspects. Such topics as types of contemporary slavery, comparison of traditional race-based slavery and contemporary slavery, human trafficking in the U.S. today, and other notable topics will be identified, analyzed, and discussed.
