About Beverly J. Brown Library

Welcome to the Beverly J. Brown Library, which is conveniently located on Siwell Road in Byram. Our regular Toddler Story Hour is Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Our library offers the Summer Reading Program for children and teens in June each year, and other programs for those of all ages throughout the calendar year. Our Friends of the Library group meets quarterly throughout the year. Please call the library for more information.

January 24, 2018 | Events for School Aged Children

Join us as we read, Mac and Cheese and the perfect plan by Sarah Weeks. In this book, Mac finally convinces his best friend Cheese to go to the beach, but then they miss the bus. We will also read, Where do they go on game day by Laurie G. Fisher. We will decorate the letter P for Pizza as a fun craft. Preschoolers welcome. 10:30 AM

January 31, 2018 | Events for School Aged Children

Join us as we read, Chimp and Zee's first words by Catherine Anholt. We will learn along with two other little chimpanzees about everyday topics including food, weather, vehicles, animals, counting and dressing up. We will also read, First words at the farm by H.A. Rey. This book introduces simple terms to describe things commonly found on farms. For craft time, we will match puzzle pieces to create a picture. Preschoolers welcome. 10:30 AM
