About Beverly J. Brown Library

Welcome to the Beverly J. Brown Library, which is conveniently located on Siwell Road in Byram. Our regular Toddler Story Hour is Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Our library offers the Summer Reading Program for children and teens in June each year, and other programs for those of all ages throughout the calendar year. Our Friends of the Library group meets quarterly throughout the year. Please call the library for more information.

December 13, 2017 | Events for School Aged Children

Join us for the reading of, I See Santa Everywhere by Glenn McCoy. An anxious boy trying to be good and mind his own business feels he is being watched by a jolly round man with a white beard as Christmas draws near. For a fun craft, we will make Christmas tree ornaments! Preschoolers welcome. 10:30 AM

December 20, 2017 | Events for School Aged Children

Join us as we read, Merry Christmas, by Ollie Olivier Dunrea. On Christmas Eve, Ollie and the other goslings anxiously await the arrival of Father Christmas Goose. We will also make a cute snowman face for a fun craft! Preschoolers welcome. 10:30 AM

December 27, 2017 | Events for School Aged Children

Join us as we read, Snow, by Manya Stojic. As snow approaches and begins to fall, Moose, Bear, Fox and the other forest creatures prepare for winter. We will also be reading, Brownie Groundhog, and the Wintry Surprise, by Susan Blackaby. Brownie the Groundhog is ready for her long winter nap, but her friends miss her so much they can't obey her orders. Instead, they plan for a nighttime surprise. We will make a Snowflake for craft time fun! Preschoolers welcome! 10:30 AM
