POSITION: AV / Circulation Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree preferred or comparable service; two to three years of library experience with supervisory responsibility. Knowledge of library computer software, public library experience is preferred.

DUTIES:
Supervise all circulation operations including, but not limited to, preparing work schedules for 6 full-time employees and 9 part-time employees.  Must be able to work well with library patrons, seeking to maintain excellent customer relations between the branch and the local community; responsible for ordering AV materials for branch.

HOURS:
40 hours per week, scheduled within the library hours of operation (9:00 am – 9:00 pm, Monday – Thursday; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Friday; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday and 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday).

COMPENSATION:
$21,400 minimum annual salary; excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance; State of Mississippi retirement plan.
